Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms and Conditions set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of BEGINNING and users, as well as other necessary matters, in connection with the use of the website and online services operated by BEGINNING (hereinafter “BEGINNING”).

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms and Conditions have the following meanings.

• “Site” means the website operated by BEGINNING to provide information about its services.
• “User” means a person who accesses the Site and uses the information and services provided on it in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
• “Services” means wedding hair & makeup, K-Beauty, interview and profile styling, hair styling, on-location and mobility services, and related consultation and booking services provided by BEGINNING.
• “Booking” means the process by which a User requests a Service for a specific date and time and BEGINNING confirms or approves the request.
• “External Services” means third-party services, such as Naver Booking and KakaoTalk, that are linked from the BEGINNING Site and available to Users.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)

1. BEGINNING posts these Terms and Conditions on the Site so that Users can easily review them.
2. BEGINNING may amend these Terms and Conditions to the extent permitted by applicable law.
3. If these Terms and Conditions are amended, BEGINNING will provide advance notice on the Site, stating the effective date and the reason for the amendment.
4. If a material change is unfavorable to Users, BEGINNING will provide advance notice for the period required by applicable law.

Article 4 (Services)

BEGINNING provides the following through the Site.

• Information about hair & makeup services
• Information about wedding hair & makeup
• Information about K-Beauty services
• Information about hair & makeup for interviews and profile photos
• Information about hair styling and wedding hairstyle changes
• Information about styling for parents of the bride and groom, the groom, and family members
• Information about on-location or mobility services
• Pricing and option information
• Consultation and booking links
• Lookbooks, portfolios, and reviews
• Other related services additionally provided by BEGINNING

Article 5 (Service Information and Pricing)

1. Service descriptions posted on the Site are general guidance intended to help Users choose a Service.
2. Prices posted on the Site include value-added tax. Prices shown as a range (e.g., 88,000 won~132,000 won) vary according to the Service, assigned staff, and selected options, and are confirmed during consultation or booking.
3. The actual Service, treatment duration, cost, and scope may vary depending on the following.
   • The customer’s hair and skin condition
   • Type of Service
   • Number of people receiving the Service
   • Schedule and Service hours
   • Event or shoot location
   • Whether on-location Service is required
   • Selected options
   • Other individual customer requests
4. The final scope and price of the Service are confirmed during consultation or booking.
5. BEGINNING may correct obvious typographical errors, system errors, or incorrect pricing information displayed on the Site.

Article 6 (Consultation and Booking)

1. Users may request a consultation or booking through the Site, Naver Booking, KakaoTalk, by phone, or by other methods provided by BEGINNING.
2. Completing a consultation request or booking request on the Site may not, by itself, constitute a confirmed booking.
3. A booking is confirmed when BEGINNING has checked the schedule, Service, number of people, and other details and notified the User of the confirmation.
4. For Services requiring a deposit or payment, a booking may be confirmed only after the payment conditions communicated by BEGINNING have been met.
5. Users must provide accurate information when requesting a booking.

Article 7 (Booking Changes, Cancellations, and Withdrawal)

1. Users wishing to change or cancel a booking must notify BEGINNING as soon as possible.
2. Whether a booking can be changed may depend on the schedule, type of Service, assigned staff, and operational circumstances.
3. If BEGINNING has established separate deposit or cancellation-fee terms and notified the User of them in advance when booking, those terms apply. If no separate notice was given, applicable law and the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards apply.
4. Users may withdraw from a contract or exercise related rights to the extent provided by applicable law, including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. However, withdrawal may be restricted in circumstances specified by applicable law, such as when the Service has already been provided or a treatment has begun.
5. In the event of a natural disaster, accident, or other force majeure event, BEGINNING and the User may agree to reschedule.

Article 8 (User Obligations)

Users must not engage in the following conduct.

• Entering false information
• Using another person’s personal information without authorization
• Interfering with the operation of the Site or Services
• Infringing the copyrights, trademarks, portrait rights, or other rights of BEGINNING or a third party
• Reproducing, distributing, or selling Site content without authorization
• Accessing the Site in an abnormal manner using automated programs or similar tools
• Engaging in conduct that violates applicable law or public order

Article 9 (BEGINNING’s Obligations)

1. BEGINNING complies with applicable law and these Terms and Conditions.
2. BEGINNING protects Users’ personal information in accordance with applicable law and its Privacy Policy.
3. BEGINNING strives to address Users’ opinions and complaints concerning the Services appropriately.

Article 10 (External Services)

1. The Site may link to services operated by third parties, including Naver, Kakao, and map services.
2. When using an External Service, the terms of use and privacy policy of its provider may apply.
3. BEGINNING is not liable for disruptions to External Services or matters arising during their use to the extent they are not attributable to BEGINNING.

Article 11 (Copyright and Use of Content)

1. Copyrights or usage rights in the photographs, images, designs, logos, text, videos, and other content posted on the Site belong to BEGINNING or the lawful rights holders.
2. Users may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, sell, modify, or commercially use Site content without BEGINNING’s prior consent.
3. If third-party works are included, they are subject to the rights policies of their respective rights holders.

Article 12 (Customer Photos and Reviews)

1. BEGINNING uses customer photos or reviews on its website, social media, in portfolios, or for promotional purposes only with the customer’s prior consent.
2. The scope and duration of use are governed by the consent terms communicated to the customer.
3. Customers may withdraw their consent to the use of their photos and reviews in accordance with applicable law and the terms of their consent.

Article 13 (Restriction or Suspension of Services)

BEGINNING may temporarily restrict or suspend all or part of the Site Services in the following circumstances.

• System inspections or maintenance
• Communications or server failures
• Force majeure events, such as natural disasters
• Other circumstances that materially affect Service operations

BEGINNING will provide advance notice where possible and may provide notice afterward in urgent circumstances.

Article 14 (Limitation of Liability)

1. If BEGINNING cannot provide Services due to a natural disaster, communications failure, or circumstances reasonably beyond its control, its liability may be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
2. BEGINNING is not liable for losses caused by errors in information provided by a User or by circumstances attributable to the User, unless the losses are also attributable to BEGINNING.
3. Style guidance, preparation information, and content provided on the Site are for general reference. Actual Service results may vary depending on factors including a person’s skin, hair, face shape, clothing, and environment.
4. This Article must not be interpreted as improperly exempting BEGINNING from liability it bears under applicable law. The limitations of liability in this Article do not apply to losses caused by BEGINNING’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 15 (Protection of Personal Information)

The processing and protection of Users’ personal information are governed by the separately posted Privacy Policy.

Article 16 (Dispute Resolution)

1. BEGINNING and Users will consult with each other to resolve disputes arising from the use of the Services amicably.
2. If a dispute cannot be resolved through consultation, the User may apply for dispute mediation through a relevant organization, such as the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Commerce Mediation Committee.
3. The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to these Terms and Conditions and matters relating to the use of the Services. If litigation is brought, jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act.
